The Dubai construction market got some positive news this month when the eagerly anticipated extension to the Dubai Metro Red Line, dubbed 'Route 2020' was officially approved. The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, instructed the Roads and Transport Agency (RTA) to begin work immediately on Route 2020.
