Due to this, expectations are high and it can be a high pressure job, which suits those who are perfectionists and who want to be seen as an expert in their construction discipline.

Your career as a Delay Analyst is usually begins once you have a few years of construction experience in one of a few possible disciplines. The usual discipline is predominantly construction planning, however people often come from a construction management or engineering background as the delay skills can be taught within some of the more established organisations.
