Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will work as part of a large commercial team on this mega project. You will be responsible for managing a package of works performing post contract duties including:

• Contract Administration
• Sub-contract management
• Variation management
• Prepare regular cost reports
• Producing monthly valuations
• Provide general contractual and commercial assistance
• Liaise with relevant areas of the project including internally within the JV and externally to gather necessary information for reports

Desired Skills and Experience

• Previous experience of working as a QS on previous rail projects is essential. Ideally underground rail projects.
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East is preferred, however given the limited amount of rail work previously in the Middle East, it is expected that the most experienced rail QS's will not have worked in the Middle East previously
• Candidates must have spent the majority of their recent career working for a reputable main contractor

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• A degree or similar equivalent qualification is required
