Senior Consultant - Delay

Responsibilities and Duties
Specific duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting forensic analysis to support alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes.
- Overseeing contract administration and assess programme performance.
- Prepare and analyse schedules, assess progress, and identify project risks.
- Assist in writing reports for formal dispute resolution procedures.
- Coach and mentor junior staff, contributing to team development.
- Attend networking events
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience working in a claims/disputes consultancy.
- A solid track record in delay analysis and the different methodologies/techniques, with the ability to perform tasks autonomously and to a high standard.
- A background in engineering or as a project planner, with hands-on experience in live project planning and programme development.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to draft persuasive and technically accurate reports.
- Confidence in client-facing roles, with a professional demeanour.
- Experience in the GCC region
- Ideally already based in Dubai.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree level education in a construction related field or similar equivalent qualification is desired.
- Membership to a professional body such as the CIOB or CIArb would be advantageous.
- Relevant MSc in engineering and/ or Construction Law and Disputes LLM would be a strong advantage.
