  • Present findings clearly to clients, solicitors, counsel, tribunals and internal stakeholders
  • Take an active role in business development, including generating new instructions, cross-selling services and strengthening the brand in the disputes market

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and development of junior and mid-level staff, including quality assurance and coaching on expert report writing
  • Oversee team administration and workflow management to ensure deadlines, budgets and quality expectations are consistently met
  • Support the growth of a reputation as a testifying expert (and provide testimony where appropriate)

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be a credible senior quantum professional with strong report-writing capability and the interpersonal skills to operate confidently at senior client and legal stakeholder level.

  • Highly competent in writing quantum expert reports and presenting clear, well-evidenced opinions
  • Track record of acting as Quantum Expert and/or lead assistant / No.2 on multiple expert appointments
  • Strong understanding of construction claims quantum, including variations, loss and expense, disruption, prolongation, damages and termination-related claims
