Quantity Surveyor
A great opportunity for a London-based Quantity Surveyor to join a growing cost consultancy Team. You will positively contribute and progress within a friendly multi-disciplinary construction consultancy.
Project Details
The project work involves fire safety and remediation/cladding, so prior experience in these areas is highly preferred.
You will work on a range of projects in both the public/social and private residential, education and commercial sectors.
This role is client-facing, working within a growing dynamic and professional team to carry out a full suite of quantity surveying duties during pre and post-contract stages.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally working for a cost consultancy
- Good experience in pre and post-contract stages from inception to completion in relevant sectors
- Good track record in successfully supporting and possibly running/ working on projects
- Knowledge and/or experience on fire remediation and cladding projects
- Client-facing with strong communication, able to work as a team with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to adapt to and learn new technologies.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Working towards MRICS or MCIOB or recently qualified
