Project Quantity Surveyor

Construction careers and prospects are growing in Macau as an excellent opportunity has arisen for a capable and enthusiastic Project Quantity Surveyor with Macau ID to join a leading international cost management practice on secondment to a major integrated resort developer in Macau.

Project Details

High value, high grade integrated resort development in Macau. You would be seconded into a major integrated resort client and would be expected to reside in Macau.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive quantity surveying support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial cost planning to final account settlement.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimating, budget preparation, and value engineering exercises.
• Perform cost analysis, risk assessment, and financial management for construction projects.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on project cost status, variations, and forecasts.
• Support procurement activities, contract administration, and claims management.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Must have Macau ID
• 5 years' experience gained in professional QS consultancy firm.
• Strong experience in cost planning and working in a cost consultancy
• Previous Macau working experience is essential 
• Cantonese & English is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines.
• Member of HKIS or RICS
