Posted by Richard Poulter, Construction Recruitment Director, Hong Kong on Wednesday, May 24, 2023
The Lighthouse Club Hong Kong has been established in Hong Kong for more than three decades, providing support and assistance to industry members in times of distress. Every year, the organisation hosts an annual ball, which serves as both a fundraising and social event.
This year's ball, entitled "A Silver Soiree," promises to be one to remember! It is set to take place on 24th June 2023 and joining Richard Poulter, our Hong Kong Director at the event will be 2 other lucky members of the Maxim team; Steve and Daria from the Maxim Recruitment UK and Americas regions! ( Which of them is Cinderella!?)
The Lighthouse Club's annual ball is always a highlight of the Hong Kong event calendar, and this year is no exception. "A Silver Soiree" promises to be a night to remember, with an abundance of fantastic entertainment and opportunities to network with key players in the construction industry.
The event will take place in one of Hong Kong's premier venues, and guests can expect a fabulous meal, dancing, and music, as well as great opportunities to raise money for a good cause. In keeping with the event's title, guests are encouraged to dress in something silver , adding a touch of glamour to the proceedings.
But the highlight of the night is undoubtedly the opportunity to give back to the industry. All donations and funds raised at the ball go directly towards providing charitable assistance to those in need within the construction industry.
Maxim’s Richard Poulter, who is Chair of the Social & Fund-Raising Subcommittee is involved with organising this year’s ball . Richard is excited to be involved in this year's event and has been working hard with event preparations to make sure that it is a night to remember.
The Lighthouse Club Hong Kong runs numerous networking and fun events throughout the year. As an individual you can get together on a regular basis with like-minded construction professionals both young and not so young, attend and participate in seminars and networking functions, site visits, golf days, BBQ’s and gala dinners at a discounted rate and raise funds in the process for those in your industry who are not having such a good time.
