This client Side Director of Project Management will be stationed full time in the premier destination of Niseko which offers a seamless blend of traditional Japanese culture and contemporary luxury.
As the client side Director of Project Management, you will lead our project management division towards unprecedented commercial success.
This role demands an individual with a proven ability to oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and above expectations.
Your leadership will be key in managing the division’s Profit and Loss, fostering a culture of excellence, and developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the project management division to meet strategic goals, with a special focus on managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Take full ownership of the division’s Profit and Loss, crafting strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Streamline project management and process workflows to ensure peak efficiency and effectiveness across all stages of development.
- Build a high performance culture, mentor the team, and design a comprehensive training program to foster growth and accountability.
- Serve as the main liaison for investors, developers, and elite clients, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
- Oversee all project stages to ensure compliance, quality, and safety standards are exceeded.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement to stay ahead of industry trends and meet the needs of our elite clientele.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Fluent in English and proficiency in Japanese required
- Demonstrated success in overseeing multiple construction projects, with a focus on luxury real estate or similar high caliber developments.
- Strong commercial instincts with prior Profit and Loss management experience.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent project and process management skills.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- Master’s degree or certifications like PMP are advantageous.
