About Quantum Professionals

A job as a Quantum Consultant at any level is one of the most challenging but also rewarding paths you can take. You can work for a variety of company types including Expert Witness consultancies, Claims Consultancies, or even a Legal firm specialising in construction law.

As a Quantum Consultant, your work will be scrutinised by Experts at the highest level whether it be by your peers, or by Barristers in a Court of Law. Due to this, expectations are high and it can be a high pressure job, which suits those who are perfectionists and who want to be seen as an expert in their discipline.

Your career as a Quantum professional often begins once you already have a few years of Quantity Surveying experience. It also helps if you are well qualified academically, although depending on the company this isn’t always a prerequisite.

The rewards in this exciting career direction are financial as well as just mentally challenging and rewarding. You can often earn a far higher salary as a Quantum professional at the senior levels, than you otherwise might as a Commercial Leader or Commercial Manager within a Contracting or general Consulting organisation.

Maxim Recruitment is one of the leading experts in recruiting construction disputes professionals, and with a core discipline of Quantity Surveying recruitment we could be no better placed to help you find the correct job within this exciting and rewarding sector, in the UK and around the world in places such as Canada, Hong Kong and Dubai.
