Claims Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Claims Manager, having previously worked on major airports projects, with a demonstrable track record of negotiation, settlement and dispute resolution of major disputes and claims, to represent the client and lead a team to negotiate a successful and timely conclusion to a number of major claims arising on the the project.
Project Details
Target completion date for project is 2026 and this assignment will likely be for a 4 year period.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide to the client expert contract advice, disputes strategies and solutions
- Provide preparation, management and support for anticipated formal dispute resolution proceedings
- Apply robust and methodical analytical skills to all aspects of the claims process whilst adopting a flexible and adaptable approach to problems encountered and to client requests.
- Lead, mentor and drive internal and external support teams providing quantum and delay evidence gathering, analysis and drafting technical submissions;
- Presenting to management / board level

- 20 years broad experience of major construction and infrastructure engineering projects
- Track record of management and successful delivery of major claims and disputes
- Commercial Management, contract advisory and commercial strategies
- Programming and project management
- Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
- A personable and professional manner
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant
- LLM qualification
