Associate QS
Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of quantity surveying projects across different sectors, identifying and developing business opportunities for quantity surveying and project management services together with strengthening the quantity surveying team through bringing your own technical knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the day to day operations of the team under your direct control
- Support the Director and / or Senior Associate to whom you report on a day to day basis to ensure provision of services adheres to Consultancy Agreement and to Client’s satisfaction
- Manage team resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Brief, direct and supervise project personnel under your direct control
- Provide expert advice and solutions to meet clients expectations and requirements
- Develop business opportunities with existing clients and similar level counterparts in related disciplines of other consultants
- Oversee a portfolio of projects covering pre and post contract quantity surveying services
- Manage teams of Quantity Surveyors of varying grades, with each team led by a Principal Quantity Surveyor who will report directly to you
- Help Develop new business opportunities in Hong Kong
- Supervise the delivery of services including cost planning and estimation, preparation of tender and contract documents, tender evaluation, valuation of payments and variations, and account finalization
- Take a lead role in the application of government, quasi-government and private forms of contract
- Engage with clients and other project stakeholders
Desired Skills and Experience
- Fully experienced in the provision of core QS services from feasibility / concept through to finalization of accounts and DLP admin
- Minimum 10 years post‐qualification practical experience in roles directly related to the provision of quantity surveying services
- Track record of successfully delivering projects in a consultancy environment
- Extensive working experience in pre and/or post contract quantity surveying services in Macau
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences
- Good leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Fully experienced in the use of all major forms of contract
- Macau ID Holder is preferable
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree majoring in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
- Member of HKIS or RICS
