Senior Quantity Surveyor

Project Details

• Senior Quantity Surveyor role on a major M&E rail upgrade project in Central London. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• To be the Senior Quantity Surveyor on a major rail related M&E package of work.
• You will be handling sub contract packages for Mechanical, Electrical, HV and Communications under the NEC form of contract.
• You will report to the Project Senior Commercial Manager and also advise the site Project Manager.
• You will manage all commercial reources and assist with the management of the commercial team
• Your responsibility will be to maximise project cost efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs and to maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment
• You must be abble to close out contracts and projects efficiently.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Previous experience of managing M&E contracts for a contractor on a major rail project desired

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.
• MRICS status is desirable
