A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a world class construction consultancy in their central Birmingham office. The opportunity is within the buildings team, so strong building sector experience is required as a Quantity Surveyor.

Project Details

You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor on building sector projects throughout the Midlands.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Estimating
- Cost planning
- Tender documentation production
- Contract negotiations
- Contract documentation production
- Interim valuations
- Agreeing variation costs
- Negotiating final account

Desired Skills and Experience

- Quantity Surveying experience on building sector projects
- Pre contract and Post Contract experience

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- Degree or equivalent in construction discipline is preferred
- Chartered Member of a professional body such as the RICS or CIOB, or on route to completion is desired
