Senior Project Quantity Surveyor
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to join a first class, UK based construction cost and project management consultancy in their central London office. You will predominantly manage a £40m state of the art research and science centre including both labs and offices, and be adept at making use of a team structure.
Project Details
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will work predominantly on a large project (circa £40m) in the research and science sector (labs and offices). You will have experience of managing large projects of this type and will be adept at making use of a team structure. The project is to be traditionally procured using BQ's (NRM) and experience here is a pre-requisite.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Make use of a team structure
- Pre and Post Contract management inclusive of procurement
- Resource management
- Project profitability control
- Client management
- Contract management and assist in any claims that arise
- BQ’s
- Act professionally at all times as the face of the company and assist in business growth where possible
- Act as the commission lead on projects taking full ownership and responsibility
- Final Account negotiation
Desired Skills and Experience
- Client interfacing experience
- Experience managing large projects as the lead QS
- Full project life cycle experience
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified is preferred
- Member of the RICS
