The role of Senior Project Manager encompasses all phases of a construction project. Responsibilities include overseeing material and equipment, organization of the workforce, and ensuring stipulations concerning all aspects and phases of the construction project are adhered to. They discuss potential problems or modifications with architects and owners, reviewing architectural and engineering designs. Contracts, permits and licenses along with correct administrational procedures are all part of the Senior Project Managers duties. The supervision of the Assistant Project Manager is all also a main duty reviewing their reports and mentoring them for their future career as a Senior Project Manager. The duties are wide and varied with the overseeing of the construction project as a whole from beginning to end.
