Senior Project Manager
A Senior Project Manager (Associate level) is required to join a first class construction consultancy in their Cambridge office. You will work in the transport sector on behalf of the client, so projects will include those such as rail and road construction and maintenance. You should have a client facing personality with business development skills, and be able to help grow an existing commission. Candidates with a Contractor or Consultancy background will both be considered.
Project Details
Projects will be in the transport sector and will include a variety of transport projects such as road and rail construction and maintenance.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Effective control of requirements and scope
• Liaison with the client operations team
• Ensuring appropriate services are delivered through technical, engineering, project controls and commercial support functions
• Safe, secure, timely and cost effective delivery of projects meeting all objectives
• Effective management flow of data to communicate; status, progress, uncertainty, risk and current/projected performance.
• Development and welfare of team members
• Effective communication across project delivery, client and stakeholder teams
• Achieving profitability
• Managing team development through the Performance Development Review system
• Help grow the existing commission
Desired Skills and Experience
• Experience working on transport projects in a Project Management role
• Management experience is strongly desired
• Client facing skills / personality
• Business development skills and ability to grow an existing commission
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
• Degree qualified is strongly desired
• PRINCE 2 practitioner
• APM
