Senior Project Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager has arisen to work in Berlin, for a construction consultancy in a Clients Representative role. You will be responsible for refurbishment and re-build projects on behalf of the client, overseeing the contractor on site. You will have experience being responsible for projects on site for a Main Contractor or Consultancy/Client organisation.
Project Details
Your scope will be to manage refurbishment and re-build projects in the building sector.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Acting as the clients representative on site
• Effective control of requirements and scope
• Management of Main Contractor and Sub-Contractors on site
• Ensuring appropriate services are delivered through technical, engineering, project controls and commercial support functions
• Safe, secure, timely and cost effective delivery of projects meeting all objectives
• Effective management flow of data to communicate; status, progress, uncertainty, risk and current/projected performance
• Effective communication across project delivery, client and stakeholder teams
• Writing client reports in English language
• Communication with on site parties in German language
Desired Skills and Experience
• Fluent in English and German
• Experience being responsible on site for projects
• Main Contractor / Client / Consultancy backgrounds are all considered
• Ability to work as a Clients Representative
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
• Relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or other construction related discipline is preferred
