Senior Manager - Delay
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant/ Associate Director in Delay to join as a Senior Manager within the Delay division of an international and prestigious expert witness consultancy in Dubai.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in an engineering or planning background, as well as delay analysis and disputes experience.
You will work as part of a team with direct communication with industry-leading Who’s Who Legal named experts, on major international disputes.

Responsibilities and Duties
The exact job duties of the Senior Manager will vary based on the size of each individual dispute you are working on.
As Senior Manager you will report directly to the Managing Director of the business and work closely with him in providing high-level analytical and report writing assistance on major disputes.
As a senior member of the team, you may also be tasked with providing support and mentoring downstream to more junior staff within the business.
Specific duties will include:
- Take full responsibility for the analysis and report writing of section(s) of the dispute (i.e. foundations etc.)
- Gathering of relevant data to support your report
- Carrying out expert analysis to a high level of scrutiny on data and documents relating to the dispute
- Drafting / Writing sections of the expert report using appropriate structure and language
- Liaise with numerous parties both internally and externally to generate required information and documentation.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A background in Engineering or Planning, ideally for major reputable employees and large-scale projects.
- Experience with dispute resolution procedures, ideally arbitration.
- Experience drafting sections of reports.
- Ability to approach tasks methodically and analytically.
- Incredibly meticulous and thorough in the work that you do.
- A personable and professional manner.
- A high standard of written and spoken English
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Must be Degree qualified in a relevant subject (or similar equivalent).
- Ideally be working towards an MSc or LLM in construction Law. Although full sponsorship towards this can be offered.
