Senior Commercial Manager
A highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager is required to join a client side organisation in Birmingham. You will have worked on large civil engineering / infrastructure projects and taken the lead on these, having managed teams of Cost Managers / Commercial Managers. You should be within a reasonable commute of Birmingham. Project values will vary, including schemes exceeding hundreds of millions of pounds.

You will be the senior lead on a project / projects in the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors. Project values will exceed hundreds of millions of pounds in some instances.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Acting as the lead of a large team of staff from a commercial stand point
- Undergoing an integral role in the liaison with Contractors and Consultancies alike
- Reporting to the Commercial Director for the organisation
- Be actively involved in the training and supervision of members of staff
- Be responsible for the secondment of staff to Contractors or Consultancies where necessary
- You will be involved in the recruitment of staff
Desired Skills and Experience
- You will have acted as the lead commercial manager on projects in the civil engineering / infrastructure sectors
- You will have a background in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Member or Fellow of RICS or CIOB is preferred
- A construction related degree or equivalent is desired
