Senior BIM Modeller

Exciting opportunity in the Hong Kong construction jobs sector. Our client, a top-tier Hong Kong-based construction and engineering contractor, is looking to hire an energetic BIM Modeller to work on a major building project in Hong Kong.

Project Details

This is a Design and Build Contract for a 2-storey building to accommodate an advanced mail sorting facility, covering a CFA of approximately 11,300 m2. The scope of Works will comprise a two-story building, auxiliary buildings, building services installation, external works, landscaping works and associated civil works.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for developing and modeling the BIM works with all design disciplines
• Ensure models, drawings accuracy based on BIM standards and BIM project workflow criteria, checklist.
• Clean up and synchronize models/drawings on a daily basis to the cloud collaboration platform.
• Report regularly to Principal BIM Modeler, BIM Manager on the progress of work.
• Ensure all exported information are recorded in the correct directory.
• Implement Quality Control
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines regarding design-changes and model changes.
• Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
• Prepare discipline model and/or content for BIM coordination meetings.
• Design and build experience, preferably Airport Authority project experience if any
• Self-driven to liaise and work with all disciplines on building project

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in construction, BIM
• Design and build experience, preferably Airport Authority project experience if any
• Conversant with BIM Language

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Diploma in engineering, architecture, construction, or computer science
• CIC-Certified BIM Coordinator is an advantage
