About Risk Managers

The role of Risk Manager is to assess potential dangers to construction projects and all aspects of a construction project are analysed for possible risk. Risks include, financial and legal, risk to the company and to the workforce, plus, environment and reputational risks. The Risk Manager works closely with legal teams, project managers and health and safety teams, they ensure the construction project has minimal budget loss, accidents and any public liability.

Other responsibilities include, visiting and monitoring construction sites with the ability to foresee and advise on potential risks, the communication of polices and staff training to increase risk awareness, to report any concerns and problems to stakeholders and work colleagues, and in case of an incident to implement continuity plans.
