Quantity Surveyor (PQS)
A unique and exclusive opportunity has arisen for an entrepreneurial Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join a fantastic construction consultancy in their Waterloo office. Project Details
You will be a Quantity Surveyor on projects in the retail, entertainment, and health sectors, on projects between £1m and £40m. Projects will be nationally based in London, South East, Midlands and the North as far as Manchester, however travel to site isn’t regular and you will be office based in Waterloo for the majority of your time.

- Cost monitoring and Cost Reporting

- Provisional sums and Prime Costs
- Claims
- Final account
- Dispute resolution
Business unit (with back up from admin and marketing team)
- Business unit administration
- Marketing and client relations
- Costing for new service appointments
- Reporting on Business Unit performance
- Staff recruitment and management
Desired Skills and Experience

Shown experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the building sector

Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to grow within a growing business

Cost Planning Experience

Pre and Post Contract Quantity Surveying experience

Self-Motivated and proactive attitude

Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player

Experience with computer based estimating software is desirable

Main Contractor background is considered for those with Pre-Contract experience
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline is desired
- Chartered status (MRICS) is preferred however we would welcome candidates who are on route to complete this
