Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

My client is a well-established institution in Hong Kong. At the moment, as business is expanding they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor-MEP to provide support to the Category Manager, working on several corporate projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review quality, robustness and accuracy of deliverables produced by the external QS (or engineer) consultants
• Be a reliable partner by working closely with FM team and Commercial and Contract Management team
• Manage the appointment and performance of the QS MEP consultants, contractors and suppliers
• Provide MEP related commercial advice to business managers and other functional departments
• Advise on suitable and effective procurement approach for MEP services
• Communicate with MEP suppliers and works closely with M&E Services Category Manager

Desired Skills and Experience

• Min. 5 years relevant work experience, with minimum 2 years related MEP Experience
• In-depth knowledge of FM Services
• Candidate with property developer/consultancies experience highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, planning skills and analytical abilities
• Good command of English and Chinese

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying OR related disciplines
• Professional qualifications in Chartered Member HKIS / RICS or equivalent
