Quantity Surveyor

An intermediate level Quantity Surveyor is required to work for the Warwickshire office of a growing UK main contractor, now with 6 regional offices around the UK. This is a great opportunity to work for a growing business, rife with opportunity. The successful candidate will be used as either a commercial lead on the companies smaller projects, or potentially in a supporting role on the larger projects.

Project Details

The hiring company typically work within the built environment on new build and refurbishment projects in the region of £2m - £15m. They can include work on public or private schemes across a range of sectors including:

- Healthcare
- Commercial & Industrial
- Education
- Leisure
- Residential
- General property and development

Projects will typically be based within a reasonable commute of the companies Warwickshire office.

Responsibilities and Duties

Will include, but are not limited to:

- Producing monthly Cost Value Reconciliations
- Creating orders
- Producing valuations
- Managing payments
- Sub contractor procurement & management
- Keeping organised and accurate documentation for the project(s)
- Producing weekly and monthly reports
- Dealing with day-to-day contractual issues

Desired Skills and Experience

- Candidates will have previous experience working for a reputable main contractor
- Previous experience of commercially managing projects or packages of work in excess of £3m - £5m
- Candidates must have significant project experience on projects within the built environment
- Highly organised
- Proactive in their approach to work

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- Candidates must be Degree qualified or hold a similar equivalent qualification
