Quantity Surveyor
Due to the growth of one of Nottingham's largest regional main contractors, a Quantity Surveyor is needed to join an expanding commercial department. The company specialise in new build, refurbishment and maintenance work across a number of sectors within the construction industry.
Project Details
This position specifically relates to assisting within the maintenance division that performs mostly on residential and commercial properties in the public and private sector.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager with day to day commercial tasks, taking on more responsibility as you become familiar with the companies procedures and systems.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Some experience in a Quantity Surveying role is required.
- Experience working for a main contractor is preferred
- Highly organised individual who can plan and complete multiple tasks at once
- Good numeracy, English and IT skills
- Confident individual with a passion to learn
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
A formal qualification such as BSc or HND or similar equivalent is desired

The hiring company is a medium sized main contractor based in Nottingham and performing work in and around the East Midlands primarily. They have a long and established reputation in the Nottingham region and a turnover of circa £75m and growing.
