Quantity Surveyor

A specialist Fit-Out contractor based in the North of Birmingham requires a Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will be office based but be required to visit sites when necessary. This is a position that would interest any Quantity Surveyor wanting to get involved in a full range of duties and responsibilities from Estimating through to management of sub-contractors through to agreeing final accounts.

Project Details

The company have an excellent client base including some of the World most well known high street retailers and leisure brands. Projects can span across the UK and into other parts of Europe on occasions.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will work as part of a small team of circa 5 commercial staff within the business and provide commercial support where required. This role offers the successful candidate the chance to get involved in a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from Estimating for the projects, through to completion.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Candidates should have some experience in both pre and contract duties -
• Candidates with previous experience within the fit-out sector are desired. However candidates without fit-out experience and a desire to get into the sector will be considered
• Candidates must be able to work accurately and to strict deadlines

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Candidates will ideally have a formal qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar subject
