Quantity Surveyor
Our client is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to be part of a complicated Civil project in Islington, London for a Top Tier Contractor. The successful candidate will be part of a road bridge over a railway project on behalf of TFL.
Project Details
The project involves 5 projects based in London each worth around £10-17 million, the entire project costing around £50 million.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Contract administration
- Subcontractor management
- Conducting valuation
- Cost value reconciliations
- Change schedule management
- Variations (compensation/additional time/ additional works)
- Pricing compensation
- Client liaison management
- Preparation of final accounts
- Issuing Interim payments certificates
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous NEC experience would be preferred
- The ideal candidate would preferably have had Change Control experience although not essential
- Candidates will ideally come from a main contracting or sub-contracting background.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Candidates will hold a formal qualification such as HNC, HND or BSc in Quantity Surveying or other relevant subject
