Quantity Surveyor
A Quantity Surveyor is needed to join a small specialist construction consultancy to work in the hospital environment.
This role is suited to Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyors with 3 to 4 years’ experience.
Project Details
The successful Quantity Surveyor/ Building Surveyor candidate will work in the hospital environment, putting scanners into hospitals. The duties of Quantity Surveyor/ Building Surveyor will include rough costing, scoping works and liaising with the client.
The client for this role is a manufacturer of the scanning kit.
This role will primarily be split between being on site and working from home, and office visits occasionally.
Responsibilities and Duties
Some of the Quantity Surveyor duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Overseeing building works
- Enabling works
- Programme work schedule
This is a client facing role which, will involve dealing with the client.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3 to 4 years’ experience as Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Employers Agent or similar
- Be able to work under own initiative and also as part of a team.
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Organised and methodical approach to work
- IT skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
- You will be required to drive between sites so need to have access to own vehicle and a driving licence.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- A BSc in Construction related discipline or similar is preferred
