Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity exists to join one of the UK's Premier Sub-contractors in the specialist sector of heating & ventilation. The role will be a largely office based role located in East Sussex with travel required to sites within the M25. The hiring company are one of the leading names in this sector and have delivered mechanical services on signature projects such as The Emirates Stadium, The 02 Arena and the Olympic Stadium.

Project Details

The hiring company have worked as a Sub-contractor delivering specialist services relating to ductwork on major projects in the sports & leisure, commercial and healthcare & education sectors. The successful candidate can expect to work on exciting projects typically located within the M25 in London.

Responsibilities and Duties

As Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Commercial Manager and work as part of a small commercial team of Quantity Surveyors and Estimators. Your role will typically be to assist in the post contract duties, however on rare occasions you may be asked to assist with the Estimating functions within the business.

Desired Skills and Experience

•  It is essential that candidates have some exposure to working as a QS on Mechanical Services packages. Candidates with specific HVAC experience would be preferred.
•  Candidates should have good planning and organisational skills
•  Candidates must me confident and have strong communication skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Candidates must hold a formal Quantity Surveying qualification. Ideally a degree or similar equivalent.

£35k - £45k Basic Salary

Working Hours:
Mon - Thur: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Fri: 8.30am - 4.15pm
