Project Technical Manager

Civil Engineering recruitment continues apace as a major global rail systems and engineering firm is looking for an energetic, forward thinking Project Technical Manager with major signalling experience to join their team in Hong Kong and deliver multiple signaling projects with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design, engineering, installation and test & commissioning.

Project Details

• Monitoring and Interfacing with the systems integration clent for the Development of ATS, ATS Design, Requirement management, Interface with Signaling system.
• The systems integration client Interface Leader is part of the Project Engineering Team. He /She is responsible to Interface with the systems integration client to deliver the system or sub system approved by the customer, respecting the project Quality Cost Delivery, during the project life cycle

Responsibilities and Duties

• Interface Leader with systems integration client for ATS Solution Development and Delivery Manage the interface with the internal signaling project core team and External systems integration client.
• Be the direct technical interface with the customer for ATS
• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project.
• Manage the interface with the software development team to obtain product deliverables and support.
• Participate to Change Control Boards meetings
• Managing the activities and requirements exported to Testing and Commissioning for site execution and coordinate with Verification and Validation leader to conclude the results.
• Make sure technical design is consistent and align with client Product and Specific Gap identified.
• Contribute to the definition of the functional validation phase of the sub-system 
• Manage the project solution, meaning the customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance commitments.
• Follow and participate in Risk and Savings Reviews for their scope

Desired Skills and Experience

• 8 Years of professional experience in Engineering and Technical functions, including 5 Years of professional experience in Railway Signaling
• Good verbal and written English communication skills QCD management, in particular the ability to lead transversally engineering teams
• Customer Technical Management
• Ability to work transversally with engineering teams
• Requirement management
• Change Request Process
• Proactivity

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Instrumentation Engineering
