Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor

An established contractor based in Central London requires a Project Quantity Surveyor to manage up to 3 projects within the London area. The hiring company delivers a 'full package' integrated construction service across the Commercial, Retail, Hotel, Rail, Public and Residential sectors. The hiring company are financially stable and have a strong record of gaining repeat business with their clients.

Project Details

The company has 2 main divisions to the business. Interiors and Structures. Both provide a range of services to highly reputable client. Projects are typically within the M25 area.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will report directly into the Director of the business and work as part of a small commercial team which is responsible for managing circa 10 projects at any one time. You will work on pre and post contract duties in this role.

You will spend the majority of your working week on site, with 1 or 2 days in the Bermondsey based office when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Previous experience of working for a sub contractor is preferred
- Previous experience in managing your own projects commercially is essential
- Good knowledge and experience of managing sub contractors
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent level of written and verbal English is required

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- A relevant qualification would be advantageous.
