Project Quantity Surveyor

A experienced Project Quantity Surveyor is required to join one of Hong Kong's leading main contractors to work on residential construction projects in Macau. You will be site based and working within a team of commercial staff and reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor. Due to continued expansion a large scale main contractor with operations in civil, building and property construction projects requires capable and experienced Quantity Surveyors to work within an established commercial team in Macau.

Project Details

Large scale residential project.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Administration of main contracts and subcontracts
•  Handle cost control and budgeting
•  Assist with material procurement
•  Assist with any contractual claims and subcontractors’ claims if required
•  Any other Quantity Surveying duties if required

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience working as Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong or Macau
• Large scale building project experience is preferred
• Main Contractor experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with other departments

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• MRICS/MHKIS or similar professional membership is an advantage but not essential
