Project Quantity Surveyor

A well known and reputable main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team and provide commercial/cost expertise to building and foundation projects in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Handle administration of main contracts and subcontracts
•  Assist with cost estimation
•  Handle cost control and budgeting
•  Material procurement
•  Assist with any contractual claims and subcontractors’ claims if required
•  Report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor on all commercial matters

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Relevant experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong
•  Candidates with main contracting experience are preferred
•  Experience working with building and foundation projects is an advantage
•  Strong communication skills in Cantonese and English
•  Good I.T. skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered professional membership is preferred but not essential
