Project Quantity Surveyor

A major Hong Kong based main contractor is seeking a capable Project Quantity Surveyor to join a commercial team working on a large scale civil engineering project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join a leading contracting company in Hong Kong. This is a site based role working on an existing project and you will report to the Commercial Manager.

Project Details

A large scale civil engineering project with a number of years left until project completion

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Handle any re-measurement work
•  Assist with valuing variations
•  Project cost control
•  Contract administration
•  Assist with claims preparation if required
•  Deal with subcontractor's accounts

Desired Skills and Experience

•  The ideal candidate will have over 3 years’ experience working in Hong Kong as a Quantity Surveyor
•  Candidates from a main contracting background are preferred
•  Large scale civil engineering or infrastructure project experience is an advantage
•  Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English
•  Good I.T. skills 

CANDIDATES WITH MORE EXPERIENCE CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR POSITION

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered status such as MRICS is an advantage but not essential
