Project Quantity Surveyor

A well known and reputable main contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team and provide commercial/cost expertise to civil engineering and building projects in Hong Kong.

Project Details

Large scale HK$billion building and civil engineering projects in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Administration of main contracts
• Administration of sub contracts
• Handle cost control and budgeting
• Material procurement
• Assist with contractual claims and sub contractors claims when required
• Provide commercial support and advice to other departments

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Relevant experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong
•  Candidates with main contracting experience are preferred\
•  Strong communication skills in Cantonese and English
•  Self motivated and have a good eye for detail
•  Ability to work well within a team environment

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered professional membership is preferred but not essential
