Project Quantity Surveyor

A large scale building construction company is seeking enthusiastic and capable Quantity Surveyors to work in Hong Kong.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Hong Kong based Quantity Surveyor to join a leading building construction company undertaking large scale projects in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Managing all aspects of project finance
•  Handle pre and post contract quantity surveying duties
•  Assist in procurement and management of subcontractors
•  Compile commercial accounts and records
•  Monitor project progress
•  Provide advice on how to resolve issues with sub-contractors and suppliers
•  Maintain positive cash flow
•  Provide commercial advice to other department when required

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Relevant Quantity Surveyor experience in Hong Kong
•  Candidates with building related project experience are preferred
•  Proficient in computer applications, e.g. MS Word and MS Excel
•  Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
•  Good supervisory skill

** Candidates with less experience will be considered for the positions of Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor**

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Diploma, Degree or similar qualification in Quantity Surveying / Building Engineering or equivalent discipline
•  Professional chartered status is an advantage but not essential
