Procurement and Contracts Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement and Contractors Manager to join a leading Hong Kong based client working on a mega scale project. You will be responsible for supervising and executing cost control and procurement and will report to Senior Management

A major construction project in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Implementation of procurement strategies
•  Project cost management including cost engineering, vetting of cost estimates and project cost control and reporting
•  Preparation of tender document packages for design, quantity surveying and other related consultancies and construction works contracts
•  Management and administration of the entire prequalification, tendering, tender assessment and contract award process
•  Contract administration of design, quantity surveying and other related consultancies and construction works contracts
•  Close liaison with internal stakeholders and external consultants
•  Providing professional training and advice to subordinates

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Strong track record of relevant experience in procurement and contract administration of major multi-disciplinary construction projects
•  Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
•  Excellent command of English and Cantonese
•  Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or other related disciplines
•  Member of HKIS / RICS or other equivalent professional bodies
