Managing Quantity Surveyor

An experienced Quantity Surveying Manager/Leader is needed to join a highly regarded main contractor in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will be working in the building projects business unit of a leading Hong Kong main contractor. You will be head office based handling commercial and contractual matters within various large scale building projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Responsible for all Quantity Surveying matters
•  Take a lead role in commercial matters
•  Provide commercial advice and support when needed
•  Oversea operational and management issues within the business unit
•  Manage building contracts
•  Supervise and manage junior staff at project level
•  Prepare relevant reports and presentations for senior Directors

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or above with a contracting organisation
•  Experience managing building construction projects and contracts
•  Ability to manage staff and multiple projects
•  Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered status such as MRICS/MHKIS is preferred
