Lead Quantity Surveyor
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take a lead commercial role on a large MTR construction project.
A leading international contractor requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor to a take lead role on a large MTR construction project in Hong Kong. You will be site based and will take a lead role in closing out the Final Account for this project. Once the project is completed you will be moved to another project in Hong Kong. This is a permanent employed contract role.
Project Details
A large scale MTR project with approximately another 6 - 12 months commercial work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as the lead commercial representative for the project
- Work towards the final account and project completion
- Handle all project commercial/contract matters
- Supervise junior site based QS staff
- Report directly to the Regional Commercial Manager
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working in Hong Kong as a Quantity Surveyor
- Main contractor or sub contractor experience is preferred
- All round post contract Quantity Surveying experience
- MTR/Civil Engineering project experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
- Strong IT skills
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Chartered status or other professional recognised accreditation is an advantage.
