Graduate Quantity Surveyor required to join a premium national civil engineering infrastructure contractor on a major road project near Camberley, Surrey.
Project Details
A major road widening project near Camberley, Surrey near to both the M25 and the M3.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will be responsible for assisting with the day to day commercial management of the project, and for the liaison with the project management team to ensure the project runs smoothly. You will be based on site.
Your QS duties will include:
- Sub-contract procurement and management
- Sub-contract valuations
- Measurement
- Cost plans and reporting
- Cost/value reconciliations
- Interim main contract valuations
- Change schedule management
- Pricing compensation events/variations
Desired Skills and Experience
Some hands on experience in a Graduate QS / Quantity Surveyor role is desirable from work experience or gap year assignment.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is desired
