Estimator
An Estimator is required to work for a Yorkshire and Midlands based contractor who work on a range of new build and refurbishment projects. The hiring company handle tenders on a range of new build, refurbishment and Design & Build projects ranging from £1m - £20m and the York office specifically deals with tenders at the lower value end of that range.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Appraising Tender Documents
- Preparing subcontract and material enquiries
- Measurements
- Risk & Value Management
- Preparation of Budgets
- Estimates & Cost Plans
- Client Presentations
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an Estimating role is essential
- Candidate's will ideally have tendered for projects similar to that of which the company specialise in
- Enthusiastic and driven individual who will strive to succeed in winning work
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Candidate will ideally hold a relevant formal qualification such as a HND or BSc (or similar equivalent)
