Responsibilities and Duties

  • Experience in cost planning and estimations on stations, buildings, infrastructure and construction projects
  • Good technical experience in main areas of cost management (i.e pre- contract, post contract and final account)
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting and planning on cost
  • Partnering with clients and other consultants at all project stages
  • Expertise in the industry standard processes and systems (IT and other) to ensure the effective delivery of projects

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years cost planning experience in infrastructure and professional quantity surveyor
  • Construction experience on stations, buildings and service projects delivery experience necessary- rail experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasive skills Excellent command of English is a must
  • Candidates with Consultancy or Contracting experience will be considered

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/ Engineering or equivalent
  • Have or working towards full membership of RICS or HKIS
