Contracts Manager
A UK Main Contractor operating in Doha, Qatar is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager. This is an exciting role for a premium Contracts Manager with previous Middle East experience with a similarly reputable main contractor that offers a clear path to becoming the Operations Manger of the business within 2 years
Project Details
The hiring company are a UK main contractor who carry out medium to large scale new build projects in the built environment in Qatar. They have an excellent reputation in Qatar and are one of the longest established UK contractors in the Country, working on a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors within the built environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will report directly in to the Operations Manager and will manage the production of one or more of the companies developments in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be able to start in November and will shadow the current Contracts Manager before he leaves the business at the end of the year.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Candidates MUST have previous Middle Eastern experience
- Candidates will come from a Project Management background
- Candidates must have predominantly worked for reputable main contractors
- Previous experience of managing projects of at least £50m+ (or very near to) is desired
- Must have proven ability to manage large multi cultural work forces
- Candidates with the desire and ability to progress within the business to Operations Manager within 2 years are desired
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Candidates will ideally be Degree qualified (or similar equivalent)
- Must be trained to the highest standards of health and safety
