Contracts Manager
An Commercial Manager with a history of successfully delivering large scale construction projects in the Middle East region is desired to work for one of the UAE's most reputable and well regarded main contractors. The successful candidate will take up the role on a $500m mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi.
Project Details
The project is the construction of a retail complex estimated to be worth nearly $500m and based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project will consist of many 100's of retail units including large department stores, restaurants, cafe's and a cinema complex. The project is expected to run for approximately 30 months.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will take up the role of Contracts Manager on this exciting scheme and report to the Director of the business. As Contracts Manager you will take prime responsibility for the management of commercial and contractual issues on the project whilst managing a team of commercial staff that will be based on site.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Candidates must have previous experience of Commercially Managing similar sized construction projects in the region of $250m+
- Previous Middle Eastern experience is strongly desired, however candidates who have worked on similar projects as the lead Commercial Manager elsewhere in the World may be considered.
- Candidates will have a strong main contracting background, ideally with leading, recognised, International construction companies.
- Candidates must be contractually aware and able to deal with day-to-day contractual correspondence with the client and sub-contractors as issues arise
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification is essential

Additional Benefits Package and Incentives
