This is an office based role working a 5 day working week based in Muscat. The successful candidate will take up the role of Contract Administrator with a British ran consultancy executing the EPCM contract and other major facilities contracts relating to large oil and gas based work in Oman. This is a permanent role and you will be based in Muscat Oman.

This is an office based role working a 5 day working week based in Muscat. The successful candidate will take up the role of Contract Administrator with a British ran consultancy executing the EPCM contract and other major facilities contracts relating to large oil and gas based work in Oman. This is a permanent role and you will be based in Muscat Oman.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain an understanding of the EPCM contract;
- Review of all documents for the EPCM contract;
- Examining and verifying priced documents at site (mainly through site instructions);
- Assist with the validation of re-measured work
- Attend progress meetings as required on site to ensure acquaintance with contractual matters and matters affecting costs;
- Liaise with company personnel on site to offer contractual advice;
- Assist with the administration of all reimbursable cost activities;
- Assist with the preparation of the final account/cost recovery files;
- Provide analyses and advice on contractual claims for progress payments, additional work, and close-out; and
- Prepare reports for the company's project manager and other groups as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- Working in a Contracts Manager / Administration role on oil and gas projects is essential
- Experience in managing EPC lump sum contracts is desired but not necessarily essential for ideal candidates
- Previous experience of working for an EPC main contractor is desired
- Previous Middle Eastern experience is a benefit but not essential
- Familiar with electronic measurement systems
- Demonstrated commitment to HSSE
- High level of written and oral communication skills
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Candidates must hold a degree qualification or equivalent
