Contract Administrator
Summary of Contact Administrator Job Vacancy - Doha
An experienced Quantity Surveyor that has experience of performing in contractually biased job roles is desired to take up the position of Contracts Administrator with one of Qatar's main contractors.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing cost control mechanisms for the contracts. This will include:
- Claims preparation
- Financial statements
- Document control and procedures
- Reviewing and verifying all contract documentation
- Preparing responses to contractual correspondence from the client and third parties
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience of working on challenging high end building projects is essential (over $20m in value ideally)
- Experience of successfully operating in a contractually biased role such as Contract Administrator or Contracts Manager or similar job titles
- A career spent mostly working for main contractors rather than doing client facing roles. A mixture is acceptable, however a clear bias towards main contracting is needed
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- A degree qualification (or similar equivalent) OR member of a professional body such as the RICS or MCIOB is essential
