Commercial Manager

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading Hong Kong main contractor currently working on large scale construction projects.

A large scale construction group which has been operating in Hong Kong for over 45 years is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager due to continued expansion in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to a join a well respected main contractor providing long term career progression opportunities.

Project Details

Large scale projects (civil and building)

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Perform a full spectrum of Quantity Surveying duties
•  Handle all contractual and commercial matters
•  Audit final account
•  Handle payments & claims approval
•  Liaison & coordination with other departments providing commercial advice when necessary
•  Manage and supervise a team of Quantity Surveyors
•  Prepare and present relevant reports to Directors

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Experience working as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong
•  Main contracting experience is preferred
•  Staff management/supervision experience is an advantage
•  Excellent negotiation and time management skills
•  Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
•  Strong IT skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered status is an advantage
