This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager with previous Hong Kong experience to join a top tier main contractor working on a large scale civil engineering construction project in Hong Kong

Project Details

A  civil engineering project with an existing site based team and with a number of years still left until project completion.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for overall management of contractual and commercial issues
• Take lead role in budget management
• Sub-contractor negotiations
• Manage project cash flows
• Provide relevant project cost reports to senior management
• Oversee and manage junior staff within the project team

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience working as a Commercial Manager in Hong Kong
• Main contracting experience is preferred
• Large scale project experience (civil or build) is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Professional membership such as MRICS/MHKIS is an advantage
