Commercial Manager

A large scale construction group which has been operating in Hong Kong for a number of years is now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager due to continued expansion in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to a join a well respected main contractor providing long term career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Perform a full spectrum of Quantity Surveying duties
•  Handle all contractual and commercial matters
• Handle payments & claims approval
•  Liaison & coordination with other departments providing commercial advice when necessary
•  Manage and supervise a team of Quantity Surveyors
•  Prepare and present relevant reports to Directors

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Experience working as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong
•  Main contracting experience is preferred
•  Staff management/supervision experience is an advantage
•  Excellent negotiation and time management skills
•  Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
•  Strong IT skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered status is an advantage
